About Us

We exist to serve, encourage and empower the least, the last, and the lost, through the one true higher power our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The Beginning
In February of 2003 Family Church, Broken Arrow, OK, opened a Celebrate Recovery Ministry, Buddy and Alicia Davis were asked to lead it.  Over the years we have watched in awe as God’s work restored the lives of those who had come asking for help.  It wasn’t long before we recognized the need to offer more to the community.  We watched the success of the men coming out of prison who had the availability of a strong Christian accountability team vs. the men who didn’t stay connected.  We listened as our participants voiced concerns of returning to their dysfunctional families, destructive lifestyles, and other areas that were a problem to them in the past.  We heard their fears, and we began to pray for a way to assist the individuals who needed the safety and security of a Christian transitional home. God answered our prayers; Abba Homes & Ministries, Inc. was born out of LOVE.

To further reach our community's needs the Abba Compassionate Ministries Center,  "Abba Center", a dream of Buddy and Alicia Davis and Core Church at Aspen Creek in Broken Arrow (formerly Family Church), was born - God brought the dream to reality.  With the blessing and support of the Northeast Oklahoma District Church of the Nazarene and Southwest Church of the Nazarene as a willing host
, Core Church sent out Buddy and Alicia in May of 2014 to start the Abba Compassionate Ministry near Downtown Tulsa.

Abba Compassionate Ministry Center, "Abba Center", is a ministry of Abba Homes and Ministries Inc..  These life-changing ministries rely on the generous donations of her supporters, partners, corporations, non-profits, the International Church of the Nazarene via the Northeast Oklahoma District Church of the Nazarene.
